Taylor Swift has officially landed her 3rd music video from her “1989” album. “Style” is the title of the lucky song chosen to be her next single. The announcement that said the music video would be released February 13th was announced by Swift herself through her instagram account. Of course, fans were all going crazy and impatient to see her next music video. From the teaser she uploaded, we could tell that this one would be different from any other music videos she has ever done.
The music video that shows the darker and artsier side of Swift was directed by Kyle Newman. Kyle Newman is known as a director from Star Wars: Smuggler’s Gambit and Star Wars: Smuggler’s Bounty. He is also the director from Lana Del Rey “Summertime Paradise.” “Style” music video starring a man named Dominic Sherwood who has two different colored eyes and Swift herself. Many people speculate that “Style” is all about her ex-boyfriend, Harry Styles, from One Direction.
The decision to make “Style” as her 3rd single is kinda good decision. We can guess that the reason behind her choosing this song as her 3rd single is to keep her fans away from boredom. “Style” doesn’t offer that upbeat kind of music “Shake It Off” and “Blank Space” offer. Another reason why this song was chosen to be the next single was that maybe she wanted to prove the world that she would still be able to climb to the top of music chart with her newest “Style”.
